Whether you like cycling, running or football, or you prefer winter sports or horse riding, no matter what your favourite sport is, Frankfurt offers a lot of opportunities to become active yourself or watch professionals at one of the many top venues. For you as an international student, studying and working in Frankfurt it is almost impossible not to stay in shape.
In the area of professional sports the most common sport is horse racing. The places where these races are held are, daglfing and Riem. Every month lots of spectators come here to watch, cheer bet and have fun for a day. Apart from the races there also various shows and events for the whole family.
The golf course in the Waldstadion is located within the city limits, and is open to all. The course has nine holes, plus a floodlit driving range.
